About

Hello! I recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Ozyegin University. My research primarily focuses on supply chain management and logistics operations, with a strong emphasis on humanitarian logistics. I have explored a variety of topics within this field, including debris removal operations, pre-positioning, stock sharing, and postponement strategies.

Motivated by a desire to create real-world impact, I have collaborated with humanitarian organizations, including the Emergency Supply Prepositioning Strategy (ESUPS), the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD), and other international relief agencies. These interactions helped me deepen my understanding of operational contexts, gather data, validate modeling assumptions, and refine my research through practitioner feedback, ensuring its practical relevance.

From 2015 to 2022, I worked as a Teaching/Research Assistant in the Industrial Engineering Department at Istanbul Medipol University, where I gained valuable experience in teaching, administration, and service. Prior to this, I spent two years as a Quality Engineer at Izrek, an automotive label company, building industry experience that complements my research and broadens my practical understanding of logistics and operations.
